An employee went to close the roll-up door to the trailer. There was a strip of metal at the bottom of the door which was attached to the cable that acts as a counterweight to the door. As the door was pulled down, the metal strip became detached from the door and was pulled upward toward the top of the door by the cable. As this occurred, the employee was cut by the metal strip across both of his wrists and required surgery. | |||||
